I have one question, if we configure router R3 to use an external DHCP pool from another router (ip dhcp server x.x.x.x), does that mean that the mask information will be advertised to the client anyway? I&#039;m asking this because I&#039;m not sure about the result if for example the DHCP pool is defined with a /16 network but we configure the IPCP server side to send a /24 mask, which is the one that it&#039;s going to be sent?
