Hi everyone,

Recently, a number of changes have been made to our IEWB-VO VOL1 and VOL2 products. Specifically, all the tasks have been verified, some bugs fixed, more breakdowns and comments added. Currently, there are 63 technology-focused mini-scenarios an 7 completely independent full-scale mock labs available.

We’re working on making VOL1 (mini labs) more informative, by expanding the breakdowns and incorporating screenshots in additional to detailed configuration steps description. The next step is to add extra labs covering the new v3.0 voice lab content. For more information on IEWB-VO products please refer to:

Happy labbing!

    Hi,

Can I ask what is the progress for Security? When can we expect new 3.0 workbooks to be released as well as racks upgraded to reflect 3.0 Security blueprint?

    Thanks,
    Piotr

    • To: Piotr,

The initial cumulative update to VOL1 labs is scheduled to be released during the last week of March. The racks software should be upgraded by the same time. For those of you who have their labs schedule before April 20nd – note that we will keep the PIX and the VPN3k till the April 20nd as well, so you can continue using our racks for practicing as well. All software upgrades will maintains backwards compatibility with v2.0 Security blueprint.

    Good Day Petr,
Currently i am in progress with CCIE Voice preparation. As we know lab content will be changed to the new version 3.0 by middle of July 2009. Therefore i have two questions to you:

    1. When new voice lab workbooks version 3 will available for ordering, when your lab racks will be ready for new content as well?

    2. What about CCIE Voice theory exam, is it going to be changed as well to the new version? The matter is that i would like to order your CCIE Voice Advanced Technologies DVD edition, will the content the same so that i can start to prepare for the theoretical part now.

Many thanks for your reply in advance

    Nikolay

  5. Nikolay,

we’re finishing updates to the current blueprint right now (the next thing to be released is VOL1 with screenshots). The work on the new v3.0 will start next month, with the plans to release a bunch of updates in May. We plan to upgrade our racks hardware/software by the end of May too.

The updated workbook should have even more VOL1 labs than the current version, plus the complete 10 labs for VOL2. Please watch our announcements on the website and the blog for the news on the new v3.0 workbook.
