One of the major new topics tested in the CCIE R&S Written Exam is Cisco’s IP SLA feature. In response, I have updated your Written course with an IP SLA lesson. As you know, another reason you should master this technology is that it is a key ingredient in OER/PfR. This new lesson includes the following:

  • All of the Tier 1 foundational knowledge required for success in the written and lab exams
  • Several new Core Knowledge questions
  • Multiple choice practice exam questions
  • An interactive, hands-on exercise in which you configure an IP SLA operation, including an IP SLA Responder

Enjoy the new material, and subscribe to the blog to ensure you are aware of the many future updates as they happen.

The CCIE Written Product is like a fine wine, and keeps getting better. Thanks for keeping the updates coming.

The CCIE R&S Written Exam product is defintely useful to review even after you pass the written. I find myself reviewing topics that I want to “touch” again (using Petr’s Algorithm). That memory Half-life thing is a pain.

Thanks again and keep it up.

    Anthony,

Are IP SLA and Auto-QoS the only additonal topics to be covered under the new 4.X CCIE R&S exams….or is there more to come…

  3. There will be more to come, and I am going to release in order of importance for the new written. Of course, this also benefits the Lab Exam students as well.

Next week I am going to release PfR/OER.
