By far the best IPv6 study book as far preparation for Cisco CCIE Lab goes in my personal opinion: Cisco Self-Study: Implementing Cisco IPv6 Networks (IPV6)

  2. Hello,
IPv6 Core Protocols Implementation, Qing Li, Tatuya Jinmei, Keiichi Shima. This book has good theory and BSD code details. I read only theory and found it good.

Right from my CCNP days i have been having some issues with understand the basics of IPv6. Although now i am preparing for the CCIE but i havent touched the IE level IPv6 so far. been concentrting on routing protocols right now.

My question is that can this Video tutorial give an basic insight to ipv6 or does it assume certain level of knowledge of IPv6
