Lab’s 1 & 2 from INE’s current CCIE Voice Volume II Workbook have been completely re-written from the ground-up, and have now been pushed to all subscribers in their INE Members area.

These two new labs both contain video-based solutions, which walk you — task-by-task — through every step of the necessary configuration, along with plenty of live troubleshooting, just as we should expect when sitting for the actual CCIE Voice Lab exam.

For the first two labs alone, we have recorded over forty hours of video-based solutions.

We are in the process completely of re-writing every lab in the Voice Volume II Workbook, and will be releasing them and posting announcements here about each new lab as they are completed. We will also be releasing new CCIE Voice Deep Dives here shortly. So stay tuned for much, much more from INE’s Voice program.

Happy Labbing!

Mark

About Mark Snow, CCIE #14073:

Mark Snow has been actively working with data and traditional telephony as a Network Consulting Engineer since 1995, and has been working with Cisco Call Manager and voice-over technology since 1998. Mark has been actively teaching and developing content for the CCIE Voice track since 2005, and the Security track since 2007. Mark's story with both data and voice technology started out quite young, as he began learning around the age of five from his father who was a patented inventor and a research scientist at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mark started out on Unix System V and basic analog telephony, and went on from there to large data networking projects with technologies such as Banyan Vines, IPX and of course IP, and large phone systems such as Nortel 61c, Tadiran Coral, Avaya Definity and of course Cisco Unified Communications Manager in both enterprise and 911 PSAP environments across the US and internationally. Mark is also an accomplished pilot and punched his ticket in 2001. When Mark isn't learning, labing, consulting or teaching, he can be found either piloting or possibly jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, hanging off a rock somewhere or else skiing out west. He also might just be enjoying a quiet day at the beach with his wife and two wonderful young kids, Ryleigh and Judah.

A great job Mark. I hope you will complete the rest of the labs soon enough, because you really gave a “Deep Dive” perspective on the labs which are (Deep Dive) also outstanding presentations.
    Thank you.

    • @Hristos,
Thanks very much for the kind words. I am currently working on alternating development between re-writing & recording the remainder of the Volume II labs & solutions with continuing the Deep Dive series. In fact, look for some new Deep Dives next week on CME, SRST and some finishing touches on CUBE and GK as they are relevant to CUCM & CME, with more following very shortly on Contact Center Express deep custom scripting.

    Thank You Mark

I can access the Videos now but I have a couple of questions:

1- can we now use INE Rack to implement theses LABs, So we can upload the initial configuration to the rack

2- Are you going to make Solutions WB in addition to Videos or you are from Friends of the Earth “thinkbeforeprinting” :)

    Regards,

  6. @Mohammed,

1 – Yes! You most certainly can implement these Labs using the INE / GradedLabs Voice Racks. Initial configs are most certainly able to be applied to your voice rack by using the online Rack Control Center, from your INE Members web page.

2 – You bet we are a Green company! For every set of solutions moving forward, we will be providing the router and server configurations for download, as well as the video-based solutions in both streaming format, as well as downloadable format.

    Kind Regards,

    Mark Snow
