When Brian Dennis and I first started INE back in 2003, we had one goal in mind, to provide a complete self-paced CCIE training solution.  Together we built our products from the ground-up, innovating a new high quality standard for delivering self-paced workbooks and video based training at an affordable price.  This approach has helped thousands of engineers achieve their goal of becoming a CCIE and made INE what it is today, the industry leader in CCIE training.

Over the years, INE has pioneered many innovations that are considered standards in the CCIE training industry.  INE was the first to offer its workbooks in a volume based series, detailed solution guides, online self-paced CCIE video training, graded mock lab exams, and the first to offer an end-to-end CCIE training program.  We expect our next innovations, the subscription-based All Access Training Pass and our upcoming Unified Training Program, to quickly become industry standards as well.

In 2008, due to the continually increasing demand for our live and self-paced training, we decided to look outside of INE for new instructors.  We knew at the time that the vast majority of our students wanted, and expected, to see Brian Dennis, Petr Lapukhov, or myself doing the delivery of live bootcamps and self-paced video training.  In making these changes, we expected to receive some level of push back from students initially, but not the level we received.  We also figured this would change over time.  However two years later, we still received the same level of push back.  Students came to INE because of the reputation Brian, Petr, and myself had built over those first five years to become the industry leader in CCIE training that we are today.

During these last two years, Mark Snow became part of our CCIE Voice development team.  He has built his own reputation as a leader in this industry, and we have received immense positive feedback about the innovative and high quality work that he’s done with us.  Mark’s Deep Dive series has been a breakthrough product in the CCIE Voice training industry and you will begin to see similar products in the other CCIE tracks in the coming months.  Mark has since been elevated to head of our voice development efforts, and we’re proud to have him as part of our core team of instructors.

For 2011 and moving forward our core team of instructors are:

  • Brian Dennis, CCIE #2210 in R&S, ISP Dial, Security, Service Provider, and Voice
  • Brian McGahan, CCIE #8593 in R&S, Service Provider, and Security
  • Petr Lapukhov, CCIE #16379 in R&S, Security, Service Provider, Voice, and CCDE #2010::7
  • Mark Snow, CCIE #14073 in Voice and Security

INE is refocusing on its original roots in response to our student feedback received over these last two years.  With our core team of instructors, we re-commit to delivering high quality and innovative self-paced training at an affordable price. We are now in the process of releasing new product updates with a quality level that our students have come to expect from us as the industry leader in CCIE preparation.  These updates include, but are not limited to:

  • CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand
  • CCIE Security Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand
  • CCIE Service Provider Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand
  • CCIE Voice Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand

Continuing our innovation in the training industry, we are introducing a new subscription-based pricing model called our All Access Training Pass.  This pass offers unlimited access to all of our online streaming videos, over 800+ hours, for one low price.  This includes our entire library of routing & switching, voice, security, and service provider video products, as well as our technology deep dives and exam courses.  Subscriptions also include access to any new video training products that are released during the subscription.  CCIE track specific workbooks can to also be added to subscriptions for just one low price.  Specific pricing information can be found here.

This simplified pricing model will give our students more flexibility in accomplishing their certification goals and learning new topics needed for the real-world.  For example, let’s assume that when you start your subscription your goal is to progress from CCNA Routing & Switching to CCNP Routing & Switching.  However, six months down the road, your job role changes to be more VoIP oriented.  Since you already have access to all of our CCNA Voice videos, CCNP Voice videos, and all VoIP related content in the Unified Knowledge Library, you can hit the ground running!  This model is also great for any engineers that want to explore a new technology area for real-world deployment, such as MPLS or IPv6, without having to dedicate themselves to an entire certification track like CCIE Service Provider.  We are confident that going forward this pricing model is the best for both our students and for us as a business, and that in time our competitors will follow suit.

Currently the All Access Training Pass includes the following products:

  • CCIE R&S Adv. Troubleshooting Class-on-Demand
  • CCIE R&S Implementing IPv6 Video Series

The entire INE team would like to thank you for training with us.  We look forward to reading your comments, and we think that you’re going to love what’s in store.

  2. Sounds motivating Brian! I look forward to the upcoming changes.

  3. Santanu Roy says:

    Sounds great Brian !!
I hope you guys have some plan going to restructure SP traning program according to new SP ccie blueprints.I request you to provide some updates on INE SP CCIE strategy.
we would also like to hear Brian Denis voice in all upcoming updates:)

  4. James B. says:

What about downloading the videos? Can we download them?

    • @James B. – We are working on adding the option to purchase a DVD or purchase a downloadable version of a course. This option will normally run between $59 to $99 per course. Next week you will start to see these become active for courses we have available for download and DVD now.

  5. Bitje says:

    Nice move.
I am really waiting to see the new RnS Class on Demand.

    • @Bitje – In addition to updating existing videos that weren’t done by the core instructors, you’ll see many new videos released over the coming weeks and months. The nice part about the All Access Pass is that you’ll automatically get access to them.

  6. zeus says:

So no more classes from Anthony or other instructors?

  7. marcin pawlos says:

    Hi ,

What about updates for existing customers?
Is that mean you will not update products for existing customers?

  8. Dave V says:

Is the push for releasing the new CoD’s causing the non-release of the scheduled 12-day R&S bootcamps? There were several that were scheduled this summer, but they have now been removed from the schedule. I was planning on attending the previously scheduled class in June, but it is now unavailable. Are there any plans for more classes to be scheduled this summer?

    • Schilling says:

What happen after one year subscription? Will we still have access to the content, but receives no updates like yearly Cisco live subscription?

In your workbook subscription addition page, you mentioned user will receive automatic updates without renew subscription, how does that work?

      • @Schilling: Streaming videos will remain in your account as long as your subscription is active. If you pay for the download option for a video, then obviously you can keep that indefintely. Workbooks will remain in your account indefinitely, but you will only get major version updates (like in the case of a blueprint change) if you have an active subscription.

    • @Dave V: Not all classes are listed on the public schedule. Contact sales@ine.com if you’re interested in a specific class and they can provide you more details about the available offerings.

  9. Gavin says:

Sounds great, The original 10day ATCoD had by far the best content… Great to know the Brians will be the face of INE again!

  10. Ian F says:

    Hi Brian,

    That’s great news.
I always felt week 2 of the Audio Bootcamp was a big dissapointment.
Nothing against Anthony, but it felt like a rushed product especially compared to Scott’s week 1.

It seemed like people were complaining that there was no updates in the Audio product for so long and then Scott had left, week 2 by Anthony was just put out there and some of the topics were skimmed over far too quickly with lots of core material left out.

Will these products get an overhaul???

Look forward to more great lessons from your re-assembled Core Team of instructors, brings me back to where I started, the 2 Brians :)

    Regards,
    Ian.

  11. Jason says:

Just so everyone is clear on this offering – right now you CAN’T download the videos. I completely misunderstood that fact, purchased it, and as the internet is poor where I work & live for now I am stuck with something I can’t really use.

The offer itself is tremendous and was the reason for me clicking “buy” but just be sure that you know you it’s online streaming ONLY.

(Fingers crossed for Billing Dept. to be kind …)

  12. Warren says:

Will the CCIE Written bootcamp that Anthony created be re-done as well?

  13. MCL.Nicolas says:

Does that mean that we have to pay $55 or $99 for each Video to download ?

Or does it mean that if I bought the CCIE Training Package 4.0 I can download the whole Video package for 55 to 99 bucks ?

    Thanks for clarifying this ;)

    Nic

PS: As Gavin said : Great to know the Brians will be the face of INE again! :) )))))) cannot wait to see your video Brian ;) Advanced CoD is by far my least prefered INE product. Glad to know you ll be revamping it

  14. Sorin says:

Always one step ahead of the competition, proud to be one of you clients

    • @Sorin – They will soon follow this pricing model too. They always do. They will also try to change gears to deal with our new Unified Training Program that Brian mentioned and I’ll post about in detail soon. We’re not just changing the pricing, we’re also changing how we do video based training with our new training program. The good news is that everyone with an All Access Pass and the workbooks will be able to use the program.

  15. Ricahrd says:

Can we expect a refresh of Security ATC (currently 2009) with yourself or Petr? – that would be awesome, any ETA?. Hope it would remain audio + slides as streaming video is too fraught where I am. I would also like downloadable audio-only mp3/mp4 for iPoding. Thanks.

  16. @Ricahrd – The new Security videos will be done by Petr and Brian M. We are currently pulling off all content from the Adobe Connect Server and starting to migrate it over to a new solution. We have a few customers beta testing our new server solution starting next week so hopefully we’ll be fully switched over soon.

For offline access there will be a DVD or download option available for all videos. If you purchased say the ATC you’ll automatically get access to the downloadable version and if you’re accessing the ATC via your All Access Pass then it’ll just be a small fee to get a downloadable copy.

    3) Workbooks – Please have a product which will give a step by step
breakdown. I am talking about Workbook 1

  19. kim says:

    great new!!!

what makes these instructors stand apart is the depth of coverage !

  20. Bitje says:

@kim I can’t agree more.. they are honestly motivated into real teaching the student and giving all they can.. they can accomplish that because they have the right business model and the technical excellence to do that… The way I experience ine is a company who is in the business for a higher purpose than making money alone.. and this is not because of what they say, because everybody can say a lot, but it is because what they do.

  21. JL says:

For those interested check the interview of Brian McGahan at http://blog.initialdraft.com/archives/1216 :)

  22. Cristian says:

“Students came to a Bootcamp because of Brian’s reputation, because of Petr’s reputation, and because of my reputation, and this is what they expected to receive.”
    YES!!

@Jose – thanks for the interview

  23. Cristian says:

    and this
“This is why we are now making a big push to go back and redo any self-paced video product that wasn’t developed and delivered by either Brian, Petr, or myself. We’ve already redone the written products, but it’s still going to take us 5 or 6 months of hard work to redo all of our CCIE, CCNP, and CCNA videos.”

    Best news from INE!

  24. alan says:

Would INE tailor an all access pass to just 1 track?

For example CCIE R&S access pass to include all WB’s, COD, audio etc but at a lower price? I woudnt need security, CCNA or voice as studying for R&S in 12months would never give me the chance to make use of voice, CCNA and why would i need a CCNA product at CCIE level?

    thanks

  25. jorge gittins says:

When does INe plan to post there bootcamp classes….

  26. JL says:

Thanks Cristian, definitely excellent news from INE.

  27. Deepak Arora says:

    @ INE

Will you guys also re-record CCIP – BGP, QOS and MPLS classes ?

Also can you please provide information about when Mock Lab Workshop COD (Week 2 of 12 day bootcamp) will be available.?

Also week 1 ( 6 day bootcamp class) will be revised again too ?

    Thanks!

  28. wayne says:

  29. Ben says:

Any possibility of a lifetime subscription? I would definitely be interested!

  30. Ali says:
