After talking with a few people within Cisco here in RTP there seems to be a growing demand for Wireless CCIE training. The problem they brought up is that there isn’t any real options on the market other than the offerings from FastLane. A couple companies have advertised support and taken orders for the new Wireless CCIE 2.0 but never actually delivered on the products.

If there is enough interest for Wireless CCIE workbooks, ATC style videos, rack rentals, etc then I’ll look into getting something released. Worst case we could put together a community based solution with INE providing Wireless CCIE racks at no charge for anyone supporting the community and very reasonably priced for others.

Here is a link to the Wireless CCIE Syllabus on Cisco’s site for those who are unfamiliar with the Wireless CCIE.

    Brian,
This would be great. Most of us studying and serious about it have already purchased the fast lane material. I for one would love some additional material.

  2. Jeremy Worden says:

I’d be interested in this or being a part of the community.

    Thanks!

  3. Zeus says:

Yes I am waiting for a while for your wireless and CCDE products. Please count me in!

  4. Tariq Sheikh says:

I too already have FL workbooks, it would be nice to have variety in training to candidates. Gonna love this INE offering !

    Tariq

  5. Dennis Flemmig says:

    Highly appreciated! :)

  6. Joe Ortiz says:

    I’d be interested.

  7. Deepak Arora says:

If Not CCIE, I would atleast prefer someone coming up with self placed material for CCNA and NP wireless level. Which should be enough for atleast most of real world stuff

  8. Tim says:

I would buy a package from you if you build one and I already own the full IE Security and the Vol 1. R&S.

  9. Rich says:

I would be interested in workbooks and rack rentals.

  10. anna says:

    I am for it.

Mark Snows CCNA wireless material was awesome.

    Regards

  13. ab says:

    Brian

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO THIS!

I recently purchased CCIE-W wb vol1 from IPexpert because there is nothing else out there. Im dissapointed with their content and their prices. Its no where near as good or to the level of INE products. It lacks depth and i find myself memorising the answers rather than learning them.

If INE could produce training content for wireless in the same manner as you do all your other tracks, im onboard.

    Thanks
    ab

  14. carol says:

I’m very interested with Wireless IE..and glad this is in the discussion :-)

  15. cciew2014 says:

I would like to see an ATC for ccie wireless. I would also like to see the ccnp wireless videos as well.

  16. Paul says:

I agree with a comment made earlier.

Even if you could get up to CCNP level wireless done; it would be great as this would cover off most of the real work designs for enterprises and cover a lot of material.

Wireless isn’t a growing area and isn’t going to go away any time soon… Most enterprise networks these days are going to have a wireless component….

  17. Tuan Anh Nguyen says:

    Just do it, please!

    Regards,
Tuan Anh Nguyen, CCIE #26930 (RS, Sec, SP)

  18. John says:

I purchased CCNA-Wireless from INE – excellent investment. I was surprised to find no advanced (CCNP/CCIE) material to build on the CCNA knowledge. Please bring to market suitable CCNP/CCIE Wireless material

  19. Machan188 says:

I know that the CCNP-Wireless INE video’s were supposed to be out by the end of the summer 2012, but Mark Snow got side-tracked with the recent release of the Data Center path.

Is he (or INE) still moving forward with the CCNP-Wireless level videos?

Please please please make them!!! IPExpert is horrible

  20. Antonio Soares says:

I think this is the right moment to do it. Develop CCIE Wireless materials and the new CCIE Security materials at the same time. Wireless has many security features and Security now has Wireless. Both have ACS5.x. Customers doing one track most likely will also be interested in doing the other. I see the current CCIE certifications as these combinations: RS+SP, Wireless+Security, DC+Storage. And we will have Voice doing the pair with Video in the near furture. SP Ops will die very soon.

    • Kiwi_Pak says:

      @Antonio Soares

I was thinking exactly same thing. Yes, after ISE, ACS 5.x and Wireless in Security Lab that make sense to go for Wireless CCIE. I would be interested to go for Wireless if INE release workbooks. My Cisco Gold Partner employer got many projects providing ISE, Wireless and Security solution and I would love to Buy INE workbooks. I have access to all WLC and AP to start CCIE in Wireless

      @Brian Dennis
Please spare Mark Snow for CCIE Wireless and count me in for purchase.

I am sure INE can do great job and market is wide open for INE to Grab.

Thanks in advance bring out this topic from cold room. :)

      Cheers

  21. Mike says:

Me too….would love to have some wireless training videos….

  22. TheGrave says:

Same thoughts here, Antonio. Wireless seems the next logical step for Security CCIEs due to the similarities between these two tracks. If you have R&S in the past even better. I’ll personally go for the Wireless track once I manage to clear the Sec lab as I don’t think it would be too much of an effort on top of it.

  23. osama says:

In fact ,INEis a leading CCIE training ,but we really need CCIE wireless Training,so it is will a good thing for INE to add this training for their amazing CCIE training .

  24. Petteri says:

Yes! Having purchased material from two other vendors and looked at old VoDs for CCIE W, I am sure that the market is in desperate need for high quality, awesome CCIE Wireless material!

I love the vendor-neutral CWNP material, it’s great, but now we need something to flesh that out with vendor-specific as well.

I’ve worked for quite some time with wireless and it’s not going away anytime soon. If anything, it will become more integrated with everything else, and in some continents and countries where I have worked wireless is the only means of communication and internet access.

    Bring it on!

  25. Jafri says:

I am also working on CCIE Wireless and one of my friend who recently passed R&S through INE. On his recommendation I would love to go with INE but looks like for written I will not be able to get any help as I need to recert CCNP in April which I am working to upgrade to CCIE-W.

  26. Tommy says:

I would certainly put a few dollars on Wireless products from INE once i complete my R&S path. Wireless is in demand and even if i have a lot of interests towards the SP path, since i work as a consultant rather than in a service provider, i think it would be more useful to me if i follow the wireless path.

So personally i think that would be a perfect timing if the ATC videos would come out this year while the racks/workbooks near the beginning of 2014 or before so i can start my wireless journey right after my R&S one.

    Thanks INE !

  27. Murthy Karrra says:

I would also be very interested in such a product and could help with the development.
    Murthy

  28. Richard says:

I would be more than interested in it. If possible that it could happen before Cisco Live would be even better!

  29. Vincent says:

Would love to seen the CCNP Wireless track released.

  30. gus says:

I bought the ccna wifi from INE and woul be interested on ccnp and ccie videos and lab rentals.

  31. Melinda says:

I would be interested in the CCNP and CCIE course work and rack time. I hope you get the materials going soon.

  32. Manon Lessard says:

Please consider doing CCNP wireless, there is a MAJOR lack of quality training material.
Wish I could get it here…

  33. Dan says:

Yes, please release CCIE-W training material and build a CCIE-W rack for rental.

  34. Kyle says:

Brian, has there been any more discussion on this? I know with the Data Center and new Collaboration exams you all have been very busy. I would love to see NP/IE Wireless content. As stated by others, Mark’s NA Wireless series was fantastic and I would love to see him record a NP series and release IE workbooks.

  35. Jay says:

Yes, please!!! I used your workbook to help obtain my R/S CCIE and would love to have INE workbooks to help with CCIE wireless.

  36. John says:

Hey guys, are you preparing anything for us? How long should we wait?

You talked about this on 2012, October… :(

  37. Jerome says:

    Hi INE,

Any news regarding CCIE/CCNP wireless stuff?
