We just can’t stop! We’ve had such a positive response from you with all of our recent Voice program changes, that we just decided to keep it going! Now when you attend our newly formatted 10-Day CCIE Voice Bootcamp, you will receive absolutely everything you could possibly need to pass the exam – including Workbooks, VoDs, 2-Year All Access Pass subscription as well as 1500 CCIE Voice Rack Tokens.

It is a prerequisite that students have at least CCNA Voice level knowledge (you don’t have to have the certification- just that level of knowledge), however due to our new new bootcamp format, it is no longer a prerequisite that students must have a CCNP Voice level knowledge – as I demonstrate absolutely everything they might be tested on in the Lab with the students live in class. This style of teaching would certainly help out anyone that is currently pursing their CCNP Voice exams as well. Also, since students are allowed to come back and take our 10-Day course again at no charge, this would mean that someone studying for CCNP Voice could sit for my class, then come back and sit for it again when they are later pursuing CCIE Voice.

Based on a comment below I realize that I should add that as soon as anyone completes a purchase of any 10-Day Bootcamp, they receive all of the above material including rack tokens to get them started in their studies right away.

We’ve also added a new date in Dubai, UAE coming this Nov/Dec, as well as a date in London, UK in Sept, and we will be coming back to both Dubai and London regularly at least 2 times per year.

Transcripts, complete with click-to-jump links, are now active for the following All Access Pass* video playlists:

The way the transcripts work is that there is a separate transcript for each video. So if you want the transcript for the 8th video in a given playlist, then you need to click on video 8, then click the tab for “Transcripts”. Then you can perform a CTRL+F and find whatever keyword you might be looking for, then once found, click on the link for that line and you will jump directly to that spot in the video. Soon we will be implementing a global search tool that will allow you to search through all transcripts in a given playlist.

I will keep this page up-to-date, and simply re-post the same blog article, each time a new playlist has a clickable transcript become active.

If you haven’t already noticed, we recently updated the layout and flow of our All Access Pass* video playlists. Of the more notable changes is the fact that as you resize your browser window, the video player auto-adjusts accordingly. We also now have the transcripts incorporated – along with their click-to-jump linking feature that will take you directly to the part of the video corresponding to the portion of the transcript you are reading. Currently, transcripts are available on the CCIE Voice Advanced Technologies Class, and by the end of this week/early next week we hope to have the CCIE Routing/Switching ATC and CCIE Security ATC transcripts live as well, with many more to shortly follow. Of course if you login to your AAP subscription, you also have access to the bookmarking and note-taking feature. One last note – to make transcripts work with click-to-jump on the iPad, first begin the video with the play button, then click the link next to the portion of the transcript you wish to jump to.

We have a new feature on our All Access Pass streaming video playlists that we believe will help tremendously help you in your studies – but we’ll leave you to be the judge of that. We have added the ability for you to save unlimited bookmarks (and take notes on those bookmarks) for each video playlist you have in your online, streaming All Access Pass. Please login to your members account, then navigate to one of the streaming video playlists in order to access the new bookmark feature (i.e. you won’t see it on the sample video playlists).

By the way, one other important thing to note about this new feature is that if you take a bookmark, it is not specific to the streaming quality that you chose when saving the bookmark. So if you were watching in the “High” quality, and save a bookmark for a specific spot, you can always choose a different quality level (e.g. “HD”) and then click your bookmark, or vice-versa, to watch that bookmark at the different streaming quality. Also, you will be able to copy the links from those bookmarks, and send them to your peers studying with you, that also have an INE AAP membership, and they will be able to access that same spot to comment on something important that you found, and would like to share with them. You will find the appendix to the existing video URL very
similar to that of the way YouTube codes theirs, for easy use.

Just yesterday, after 13 days of live, online class, we finally reached the end of our new CCIE Voice Advanced Technologies Class. Weighing in at just over 62 hours, it truly was a great class, and I certainly thank all of the many students who attended the live version, and made it the huge success that it was. Thanks for all of your insightful questions during the recording!

All of the uncompressed original files have been shipped off to our professional video engineers for editing and mastering before we have all of the content professionally transcribed for full intra-video search functionality, and then uploaded onto our new CDN and delivery format.

New CCIE Voice ATC Class — Preview!

For those of you who cannot wait until this new Voice ATC makes its way up to the new CDN network (probably within a week or two), you can watch it immediately in our existing streaming format in the meantime. I thought it would never end, but after 17 class days and over 80 hours of lecture, I’m proud to announce that our new CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class is now complete!

INE’s CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class resumes this Thursday via our online classroom.  Below is a list of upcoming class dates, start times, and tentative topics:

I know many of you are anxious to get your hands on the newest version of the CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class on-Demand Videos, and I just wanted to give everyone a short status update.

So far I have delivered the first two weeks of class, in which I’ve covered roughly about 40% of the total content of the series.  The resulting video recordings are somewhere around 35 hours give or take.  I originally had planned for the whole class to be two weeks long, but since I haven’t delivered this class in a few years I always forget how large the scope of topics actually is :)  My current estimate is that it will take me another three weeks of class to complete the series, with the end result being somewhere around 90 hours of videos or so.

Last week wrapped up the first week of our new CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class, where I focused on Layer 2 Technologies such as Ethernet, Frame Relay, HCLC, and PPP.  Next week I will be running week 2 of the class, focusing on Layer 3 Technologies such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPv6, and Multicast.
