I’m very proud to announce that once again INE will be awarding CCIE scholarships. We will be awarding 8 CCIE R&S scholarships and 2 CCIE Voice scholarships. The R&S scholarships will be awarded one per region: Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, Middle East, North America (US/Mexico), Oceanic (Australia) and South America. The CCIE Voice scholarships will be awarded globally. Each scholarship includes:

  • 2 Year All Access Pass (access to all of our videos)
  • 1500 Tokens for Rack Rentals or Mock Labs Exams
  • CCIE Lab Exam Voucher (value $1500 to $1800)
  • Complete Set of CCIE Workbooks
  • Live Onsite 10-Day Bootcamp Seat

In addition to the 10 scholarships that INE is awarding I’m going to personally award 8 more that I will pay for out of my own pocket (basically the CCIE lab exam vouchers worth at least $12,000). Some people in the industry like to talk about helping others but I’m going to put my money where my mouth is ;-) This means there will be a total of 18 CCIE scholarships given away in 2012 by INE worth nearly $250,000.

Since INE has been so successful over the years helping people become CCIE’s and making INC 5000′s list of Fastest Growing Educational companies last year and will again this year, it’s vitally important that we give back to the community that has continued to make INE the leading CCIE training company in the industry. It’s important for any company in the education business to always balance growing the business with helping people and that’s why we are giving back. We try to pass on part of that success by offering free training (CCNA Voice, CCNA R&S, etc), free customized polo shirts when you pass the lab, keeping our pricing low and by offering these scholarships.

Good Luck!

I will shortly be resuming the series I began on troubleshooting, but in the interim I have been getting a lot of emails from people regarding one of the newest sections of the CCNP Voice certifications (specifically it falls under the CIPT2 642-457 exam) dealing with Call Control Discovery (CCD) running over Cisco’s new Service Advertisement Framework (SAF) – a really cool new protocol with lots of potential. So I thought I would make public a new 6-part series that will cover every aspect of CCD over SAF.

This is something that I am sure CCIE Voice students will be interested in as well, because while we don’t know exactly when the change in blueprint is coming to our beloved lab, we all know it’s coming. Most of you I understand from your emails fear its arrival – even though there is nothing to be afraid of. In fact, this is one of the biggest changes in UCM in v8. And it’s a good idea to learn it now, since there are far more changes coming in UCM v9 and you know that will be on the lab as well (there are way too many to go into and they’re still under NDA, but once I can I’ll begin outlining them). Might as well get the biggest change for UCM 8 out of the way now!

Here are the topics we will cover via video and in this order:

  • CCD via SAF :: Overview (29m)
  • CCD via SAF :: CUCM Inter-Cluster Call Routing (1h 32m)
  • CCD via SAF :: CUCM Call Routing with PSTN Failover (29m)
  • CCD via SAF :: CUCM Call Routing during SRST Fallback (48m)
  • CCD via SAF :: CUCM to CME Call Routing (54m)
  • CCD via SAF :: Inter-Cluster RSVP via SIP Preconditions (21m)

Cisco Unified Communications is a truly exciting field to be in, and one that absolutely everyone runs across today at some point during their work in any enterprise environment. We believe it’s something that everyone should have access to learn be able to thoroughly understand. We also stand by our commitment to help people understand and attain certification in this highly lucrative field at a very affordable price. In keeping, we recently made our 25 hour CCNA Voice VoD product completely free to stream from our site as well as on YouTube, as well as creating the new Voice Scholarships. So to further this belief -and just as we recently did with our SPv3 Workbook- we have decided to combine the Volume I and Volume II Workbooks for our CCIE Voice track into one workbook, and also to lower the price. We certainly hope this just proves one more way that INE wants to earn your business by helping you to accomplish both your goals and dreams!

Also, we have added new 8-Hour labs with PDF-based solutions.

Due to the positive reaction that we had giving free access away to our CCNA Voice video streaming product during the month of March, and our belief that once you watch that product and use it to pass your CCNA Voice exam that you will come back to us for all your CCNP Voice and CCIE Voice needs, we’ve decided to leave it as a free product indefinitely. We hope this is just one more way that we can both give back to our community, as well as showcase what’s in store for you with the rest of our Voice line of products.
