About the Instructor:
Miles Karabas is a certified hands-on AWS, ORACLE and Postgresql systems & database engineer, with over 20 years of experience. He possesses 5 AWS certifications and has worked with all major flavors of Unix and Linux. Miles has extensive cross-industry and cross-functional training and experience in large multi-platform environments. He is especially interested in systems and database migration to Amazon cloud infrastructure. In the database area, his primary interest is the database performance monitoring & tuning.

Miles has a wife, Suzana, and two wonderful daughters, Aleksandra and Sofia. He spends his free time working hard on his small goat & sheep farm on the outskirts of West Palm Beach in Florida.
