Introduction to Microsoft 365 Security Administration - This learning path is designed for Azure Security administrators that implement, manage, and monitor security and compliance solutions for Microsoft cloud and hybrid environments. Security administrators deal with threat management, perform investigations, and impose data governance. Planning and implementation of Azure security features are heavily covered in this course to assist with ensuring solutions comply with that of the administrator’s organization. Students taking this course should be experienced with identity solutions and the protection of information from threats both inside and outside of an organization.
MS-500.1 Managing Identity & Access - This course is designed for students to work with the identity management components of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure Active Directory. We begin talking about authentication methods used by Azure, then discuss what happens when we implement Azure AD Connect to synchronize an on-premise Active Directory instance up to Azure Active Directory. Sign on security is also heavily covered in this course as we go through password management capabilities, multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and device authentication. Also covered are the administrative groups available in Azure (Role Based Access Control) and the ability to manage the roles through tools such as Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
