Networking Week has come and gone. But while the days have passed us by, the bounty of webinars, exclusive content, and free courses can all be found right here. Let’s revisit the events that made up our celebration of INE’s new Networking Pass. And be sure to get ready for Data Science week, starting on Monday!

INE Networking expert instructor and 4 time CCIE Brian McGahan led the charge. He kicked off Networking Week with a Facebook Live event heralding the upcoming webinars, live Q&As, blog posts, and more.

This was followed by Brian’s new webinar, Implementing IPv4 Multicast Routing, covering Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM)’s operations, from the PIM Register message to building Multicast Trees with PIM Join.

Brian McGahan wasn’t the only INE expert Networking instructor to lead a great webinar. Rohit Pardasani was at the helm of Understanding and Implementing Spanning-Tree Protocol. One of the core technologies for CCIE, CCNP, and CCNA is the Spanning-Tree Protocol (STP), which is a network protocol that builds a loop-free logical topology for Ethernet networks. The basic function of STP is to prevent bridge loops and broadcast radiation that results from them.

This webinar exposes users to some of the more common terms used in STP to prevent loops, while also demonstrating how STP prevents loops and how to configure and optimize STP to achieve a loop-free environment.

Rohit also provided a brand new, free mini-course entitled OSPF Stub, Totally-Stub, NSSA, and Totally-NSSA.

A large part of understanding the operation of OSPF and being able to troubleshoot the protocol is identifying the different types of OSPF Areas and how they’re used to optimize your network infrastructure.

In this mini-course, Rohit explains OSPF Stubby Areas, OSPF Totally Stubby Areas, OSPF NSSA Areas, and OSPF Totally NSSA Areas, as well as what LSAs are received within these OSPF Area types.

Rohit also covers which routers create these LSAs, why they’re created, and how to search for them within the OSPF Database. To top it all off, you’ll learn how to configure these OSPF Area types like a pro.

Whether you work with OSPF in your existing network or you’re learning about OSPF for certification purposes, this course is highly valuable for you.

INE security expert Piotr Kaluzny also released a free mini-course, Starting with Cisco ASA Firewalls.

The Cisco ASA Family of security devices protects corporate networks and data centers of all sizes. It providers users with highly secure access to data and network resources anytime, anywhere, and using any device. In this mini-course, Piotr demonstrates the very first steps one should take into account when deploying the ASA into a network.

Networking Week would not have been complete without Keith Bogart, one of INE’s top expert instructors. His webinar, Demystifying IPv4 Addressing & Subnetting, peels back the structure of IPv4 addresses and covers how network-capable devices use them to recognize IPv4 networks and hosts.

IPv4 is the cornerstone of networking protocols and virtually all data utilizes its services. The most important aspect of IPv4 is the application and recognition of IPv4 addresses. That makes Keith’s webinar a must watch.

We ended Networking Week on a high note, bringing all of INE’s expert Networking instructors together for a great Q&A session.

Watch Brian McGahan, Keith Bogart, Rohit Pardasani, and Piotr Kaluzny answer student questions and share their valuable insights.

Thus Networking Week came to its completion. We laughed, we cried, we learned, and we did it all together. We looked that week in the eye and Networked the hell out of it. And the glory is ours to revisit anytime.
